Google Cloud will join Cronos as a validator, contributing to network stability and security by managing a validator node on the Cronos EVM protocol. This aligns with Cronos’ strategy to partner with industry leaders and top-tier validators, including Crypto.com, Ubisoft, and Blockdaemon.
Technical Advancements for Enhanced Performance
With Google Cloud’s infrastructure, Cronos Labs has bolstered the performance of Cronos zkEVM, a Layer-2 blockchain powered by zero-knowledge technology. The system uses Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Autopilot, AlloyDB, and Compute Engine with NVIDIA L4 GPUs, creating a robust, scalable, and high-performance environment that supports zkSync for faster, efficient transactions.
Encouraging Developer Adoption at the Intersection of AI and Blockchain
Cronos Labs is leveraging Google Cloud’s AI capabilities to create new opportunities in the blockchain space. By integrating Cronos blockchain datasets into Google Cloud’s platform, developers can easily analyze blockchain data through BigQuery.
