Spotware has released cTrader 5.0, a major upgrade now available for all cTrader brokers and proprietary trading firms. The latest version brings significant enhancements to the Windows, Web, and Mobile platforms, focusing on advanced algorithmic trading, cloud integration, and improved user customization.
Enhanced Algo Trading Across Devices
The update introduces a revamped Algo app, formerly known as cTrader Automate, which simplifies the use of algorithms across devices. With the integration of cTrader Cloud, traders can now access, share, and execute algorithms seamlessly from any device, including mobile, without relying on local computing resources. This feature is available free of charge.
Traders can securely export algorithm files, and these files are optimized for mobile use. cTrader Cloud ensures flexibility by enabling the launch of cBots from any platform.
Desktop and Mobile Upgrades
Spotware has also rolled out cTrader Desktop 5.0.22, which includes the new “Shared Access” feature. This allows users to grant access to their trading accounts, such as to money managers, for efficient account management. Previously exclusive to the Web version, this feature is now available on the desktop platform.
Mobile users can benefit from enhanced customization options for indicators, while cTrader Web now supports real-time tracking of positions and orders. The platform’s focus on a mobile-first approach ensures traders can manage and launch trading bots directly from their mobile devices, improving the accessibility of algorithmic trading.
New Tools for Brokers and Developers
The updated cTrader Algo API gives developers greater control over algorithms, allowing them to manage cBots and utilize indicators for trading strategies. New plugins enable the integration of third-party services and provide extensive UI customization options, making the platform more adaptable for trading businesses.
For brokers, cTrader 5.0 includes new tools to attract and manage clients. The Invite toolset simplifies the sharing of algorithms and cBots, while the Web platform now features a “Multiple Strategies” widget, allowing brokers to embed trading strategies directly on their websites.
Improved User Experience
The update also brings several UI and UX improvements, including better placement options for indicators on cTrader Mobile and real-time updates for orders and positions on the Web platform. These changes reflect Spotware’s commitment to enhancing the trading experience for both retail and institutional users.
With these updates, cTrader 5.0 sets a new standard for flexibility, mobility, and ease of use in algorithmic trading.
